Tarry Ho Campground Rules and Regulations
Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the campground - Watch for children!
Quiet Hours: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM - If you do not comply with these quiet hours, you will be asked to leave the campground regardless of what time of night or day it is. Voices during this time should not be heard off your site. Outside TV's and radios must be kept at a low level. No loud music or TV is permitted. The Office/Store, Rec Hall, and Pool close at 8PM. After 8PM, in an EMERGENCY or for assistance after hours see the Office/Store for contact details or dial 911.
Children: Must be off the playground by dark and must be back at your site at 10:00 PM. Must be supervised by an adult (21 years or older) if under 15 years old in the pool area. No diapers are allowed in the pool. Please read pool rules upon entering pool area. The pool closes for the season after Labor Day. The river is to be accessed by the designated path only, which is located to the left of the trash shed. Please read the river rules prior to entering. No bicycle riding after dark.
Campfires: No more than two feet high (or knee high) and must be out by midnight. Fire rings are not to be moved and fires must be tended to at all times. Out of state wood is PROHIBITED. Only campfire wood is allowed to be burned. No lumber or logs from campground trees should be cut or burned. Fire pits must be free of any kind of trash (ex. paper, cigarettes, trash, etc.)
Check In/Out: Campsites - Check in time is 1 PM, check out time is 11 AM. Cottages – Check in time is 2 PM and check out time is 10 AM. There is NO SMOKING in the cottages. Anyone who smokes in the cottages will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee. You will no longer be considered a paid customer after check out times and you may be asked to pay to stay longer.
Pets: Must be on a leash at all times. When on your site your pet(s) must be kept within the confines of your site. You must clean up after your pets. Rabies Certificate is required upon arrival. Pets are NOT allowed in the Rec Hall, Playground, Pool Area, Store/Office or Cottages. No more then 2 pets per site are allowed.
Alcohol: When walking around grounds, all alcohol must be discreetly covered. Drunk and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Do not drive any vehicle (motorized or not) when consuming alcohol.
Visitors: If you plan on having a visitor(s) they need to see the office upon arrival. Check out is by 9:30 PM for day visitors and 11 AM the following day for overnight visitors.
Sites: No washing dishes at outside spigot or in the bath house. Only one vehicle allowed per site. Do not put nails or screws of any kind into the trees. All grey water must be disposed of and contained properly. No cutting through campsites is allowed. No washing of RV’s, vehicles, pets, etc is allowed. No fireworks or weapons are allowed.
Trash: Trash must be disposed of in proper receptacles. We recycle glass, plastic and aluminum. Please place your trash and recycle materials in separate bags and place the bags in the trash shed located next to the Rec Hall. Littering is prohibited.
Etiquette: All campers and their visitors are required to conduct themselves in a respectable manner. No cursing or smoking is permitted in or around the Rec Hall, Office/Store, Playground or Pool. Please place all cigarette butts in the proper receptacles. All campers and their visitors are to respect campground property. You are responsible for reporting any unusual occurrences to management.
Cancellations & Refunds: 100% refund applies when cancelled up to 21 days prior to arrival, less a $20 processing fee, a 50% refund when cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival and no refunds when cancelled 0-7 days prior to arrival. One day per site will be charged upon date of booking or may be paid in full at the customer’s request. The balance will be charged 2 weeks prior to arrival.
